Service overview

Travel Pal is a free travel phrase book and currency converter operated by Jed Tabaczynski. No account or payment is required. The app works offline after the first visit.

Acceptable use

You may use Travel Pal for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the app
• Redistribute phrases, audio, or exchange rates for commercial use without written permission
• Attempt to interfere with the app infrastructure or service availability

Accuracy disclaimer

Phrases, pronunciations, and exchange rates are provided as-is. Travel Pal makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Exchange rates are updated daily but may lag behind live market rates. Phrases are reviewed for correctness but may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

Travel Pal and its operator are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising from decisions made based on information provided by the app. This includes (but is not limited to) incorrect translations, outdated exchange rates, or allergy phrase inaccuracies. Always verify critical information with a local speaker or official source.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code in Travel Pal are the property of Jed Tabaczynski unless otherwise noted. Audio files are generated using Google Text-to-Speech (gTTS).

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poland.
